21 Lakh Childen Screened Under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Kayakram In Rajasthan

Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karykaram under National Health Mission is a new initiative aiming at early diagnosis of diseases among children. In Rajasthan, over twenty one lakh children have been screened under the programme.

Among them one lakh children were treated locally . While thirty two thousand children referred to different medical colleges and specialized hospitals for further treatment.

Two hundred fifty doctors team conducted health check up in more than fifteen thousand schools and eleven thousand and nine hundred angan-waadi centers in selected twenty districts.

To treat these children state government has drawn plan at district level health camps were organised at block level and Community Health Centers More than four hundred children identified for serious diseases and surgeries help of medical colleges and other specialized hospital is being taken for treatment.
