Former Assam Assembly Speaker Pulakesh Baruah Joins BJP

The former Speaker of Assam assembly, Pulakesh Baruah joined the BJP Wednesday in presence of state BJP President Siddhartha Bhattacharya and other leaders in Guwahati.

Baruah ,who was a member of the Asom Gana Parishad said that he had left the party to join in the BJP. He said that he joined the BJP to fight against misrule of the Congress.
