Ten Of Marriage Party Killed , 8 Injured in Road Accident In West Bengal

At least 10 people were killed and 8 others injured in a road accident at Madarihat in Alipur Dwar District in West Bengal Friday morning.

According to police sources the incident occurred when a vehicle carrying passengers of a marriage party collided head-on with a trailor which was coming from opposit side on National Highway number 31.

Seven people, including bride and groom died on the spot and three others succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital. Injured passengers have been admitted into local hospital. Victims are residents of Kalchini of adjoining Jalpaigudi District.
