TMC To Back NDA Govt. In Passing GST Bill

Trinamool Congress has pledged its support to the Goods and Services Tax bill.

News agency PTI reports that when asked about the party’s stand on the issue, Trinamool Congress leader Derek O’ Brien said Standing Committee and Select Committee have already taken a view on the bill.

He said, there is no point sending it again to the Standing Committee. He said the government has promised compensation to States due to the roll-out of GST bill.
