Mumbai Serial Blast Accused Dawood Ibrahim Has Not Been Located So Far : Union Govt.

Government says Dawood Ibrahim, an accused in the Mumbai serial blast of 1993 has not been located so far. Minister of State for Home Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said in a written reply in Lok Sabha Tuesday that once the fugitive is traced, extradition process would be initiated.

He said a Red Corner notice was also issued against Dawood in 1993, adding that the United Nation’s Security Council has also issued a notice against him.

Chaudhary informed the members that the Central Government has demanded that the fugitive, who is wanted by Indian authorities in terrorist cases, be handed over to India.
