Congress Demands Statement From Govt. On Whereabouts Of Dawood Ibrahim

Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad demanded a statement from the government on the whereabouts of Dawood Ibrahim, the prime accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour Wednesday ,Azad said the government’s written statement in the Lok Sabha Tuesday that Dawood Ibrahim has not been located so far, has affected the image of the government.

He said intelligence agencies know the whereabouts of the fugitive and that he is operating from Pakistan.

Responding to this, Minister of State for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Mukthar Abbas Naqvi said the Home Minister will make a statement in this regard later.
