Varanasi District Court to hear maintainability issue of application by Muslim side on Thursday

In Uttar Pradesh, the Varanasi District Court, hearing the GyanVapi mosque issue, has decided to hear the application on Thursday which will decide the maintainability issue of the application filed by Muslim side.

Masjid Committee has argued that the suit is barred under the Places of Worship Act while the Hindu petitioners have said that the survey report should be considered.
The court also ordered the two sides to file affidavits with their objections to the survey report within a week.
