Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pay one-day visit to Maharashtra tomorrow

New Delhi, June 13

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a one-day visit to Maharashtra tomorrow. He will inaugurate Jagatguru Sreesanth Tukaram Maharaj Shila Mandir at Dehu near Pune at around 1.45 PM.

The stone temple is constructed from a special type of black stone obtained from Rajasthan and a statue of Saint Tukaram Maharaj about two and a half feet high has also been placed in front of the stone. Devotees believe that Tukaram Maharaj used to perform kirtan while sitting on this rock. This area is also known as Deul Wada.
