CM Anandiben Patel Dedicates New Naval Base INS Sardar Patel On Gujarat Coast

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has dedicated INS Sardar Patel, the new naval base of Indian Navy at Porbandar Saturday .

The commissioning of INS Sardar Patel- the new naval base on Gujarat coast will increase the maritime security on western coast. The aim of this new naval base at Porbandar is to beef up security along the vast state coastline of the state.

Senior officers of Indian Navy have remained present on this occasion. According to the sources of Indian Navy, there is requirement of gradually enhancing security infrastructure in view of the enhanced operational tempo along the coast of Gujarat due to maritime security challenges.

Tthe commissioning of INS Sardar Patel is one of the steps being taken by the Indian Navy in this direction. It will enable Navy to qualitatively augment its infrastructure and organizational effectiveness on Gujarat coast.
