India says, human rights of people of Xinjiang-Uygur Autonomous Region of China should be respected and guaranteed

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has said that human rights of people of Xinjiang-Uygur Autonomous Region of China should be respected and guaranteed.

Briefing media in New Delhi today, Mr. Bagchi said, India remains committed to upholding all human rights and it favours a dialogue to deal with such issues. He expressed hope that relevant parties will address the situation objectively and properly.

India has objected to United States of America’s Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome’s visit to Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a media briefing in New Delhi today, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, India’s objections to the visit and meetings in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the US Ambassador has been conveyed to the US side.
