Delhi Police Arrests Accused who Beats DTC Bus Driver To Death

Delhi police have arrested the accused who beat up the bus driver to death.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi said, the young man who beat up the bus driver and his mother have been arrested.

DTC driver Ashok Kumar had been mercilessly beaten to death by a biker after an accidental collision at west Delhi’s Mundka Sunday.

Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus drivers Monday went on strike protesting against the murder and seeking more compensation for their colleague.

The employees have rejected the state government compensation of five lakhs and said that they will not allow buses to ply until victim’s family is given a compensation of Rs 1 crore. Due to strike a huge rush was seen on Delhi Metro and private auto-rickshaws.
