PM Urges BJP MPs To Present Report Progress Of their Works To People

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked BJP MPs to present report to the people on the progress of the works undertaken in their constituencies.

At the BJP Parliamentary party meeting Tuesday , Modi said, the government is very keen to bring back the black money stashed abroad. Later, briefing media, Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, that the Prime Minister also said his government has come up with a tough bill on black money in Parliament.

The Lok Sabha had passed the Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets (Imposition of Tax) Bill, 2015 Monday . The Bill seeks to take penal action against the concealment of foreign income. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi stated that the government’s fight is not with the opposition parties but those who are spreading corruption in the country.

The BJP Parliamentary Party at its meeting adopted a resolution appreciating the initiatives taken by the Narendra Modi government during the first year of in office.

The resolution said, the initiatives will help in ensuring social security of the poor and vulnerable sections of the society and for setting in motion a comprehensive strategy for inclusive and rapid economic development.

The BJP Parliamentary Party commended Mr Modi for arresting the drift in governance by infusing sense of purpose and providing transparent and accountable governance.

The Resolution appreciated the Prime Minister for enhancing India’s image among the international community. It also hoped that the NDA government will succeed in fulfilling the promises made to the people.

Speaking on the occasion, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said, there has not been even a single instance of corruption or irregularity during the last one year. Naidu said, a comprehensive multi-layered strategy is being adopted by the government to reach the unreached, fund the unfunded and the bank the unbanked.
