Opposition leaders hold meeting in Parliament House complex; discuss their strategies for Winter Session

The Opposition leaders today held a meeting in the Parliament House complex, and discussed their strategies for the Winter Session.

The meeting was held in the chamber of the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge.

The meeting was attended by TMC leader Derek O’Brien, DMK leader TR Balu, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Elamaram Kareem of CPI (M), National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah and other MPs. Later, in a tweet, Mr. Kharge said, Parliament is the abode of democratic deliberations, and the Opposition will strongly raise all issues of public interest. He said, the Opposition expects that all important bills would be sent to Joint or Select Committees so that they can be carefully examined.
