India Hopes China Will Make Serious Attempt To resolve Border Dispute : Rajnath

13 May, New Delhi
Home Minister Rajnath Singh says he is hopeful that China will make a serious attempt to resolve the border dispute with India during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forthcoming visit to that country.

Addressing a function in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Singh said that India wants to maintain cordial relations with its neighbour as it thinks that the whole world is one family or ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

He said the NDA government wants to maintain friendly relations with its neighbouring countries and that is why Mr Modi had invited the heads of SAARC nations when the new government assumed charge in May 2014. He hoped that the Sino-Indian relations will reach a new high in the coming days.
