Haryana To Set Up Judicial Inquiry Commission To Go Into Land Deals Of Previous Congress Govt.

Haryana Government is to set up an enquiry commission to look into land deals in state during the ten year rule of Bhupinder Singh Huda-led Congress government. The commission will be headed by a Retired Judge.
According to sources in the government, the commission will be notified next week. He said the state government has already prepared the terms of reference for the commission and has sent it to the Centre.

Meanwhile, Union Rural Development Minister, Birender Singh said that the investigation in the land deal in the state is not targeted at any particular individual.
Without naming Robert Vadra, the son-in law of Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, the Union Minister said about 20,000 acres of land was notified for acquisition and were given away to developers and builders by the state government.
