BJP’s conclave culminates at Kozhikode, Decides to celebrate Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Birth Centenary

BJP’s three day long conclave culminated at Kozhikode, Kerala Sunday. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Birth Centenary Year resolution was passed in the council meeting, aiming at the inclusive growth of the nation.

Lashing out at Pakistan for terror activities in India, BJP president Amit Shah made a special statement during the presidential address before the presentation of the resolution. He said Pakistan was backing terrorism and added that India would take all efforts to fight out terrorism from the country.

Amit Shah said, Kashmir is an integral part of India and no one can separate the state from India.

Nithin Gadkari presented the draft resolution and said Deen Dayal Birth Centenary year will be observed as poverty alleviation year by BJP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who attended the day long council meet inaugurated the year-long birth centenary celebrations of Deen Dayal Upadhyay this evening.

Addressing the council members Prime Minister said that the central government’s mission of sabka sath, sabka vikas is not a political slogan but a commitment to ensure welfare of the last man in the last row.Contending that the definition of secularism has been distorted in recent times, PM invoked the stand of Jan Sangh ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyah that Muslims were equal as anyone in the country. He said time is up for a balanced and inclusive growth and also for electoral reforms in the country.

PM also called for a nationwide discussion on the political atrocities in some parts of Kerala. Modi said the whole society should feel pain if one person is hurt. PM reiterated his stand on development and upliftment of the poor. The only solution to the problems country faces is development, Modi said
