Germany lift Hockey World Cup beating Belgium in a penalty shoot out

Bhubaneswar ,January 29

In the FIH Hockey World Cup,  Germany have lifted the World Cup after 17 years when they beat   Belgium 5-4 on a penalty shootout, after the game ended 3-3 in the final at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Germany now have won the World Cup three times, first in 2002 and second in 2006.
