Govt introduces four Constitution Amendment Bills in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, December 09

The government today introduced four Constitution Amendment Bills in the Lok Sabha.

Two Bills are related to modifying the list of scheduled tribes in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and two are related to inclusion of certain communities in the list of scheduled tribes in Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda introduced the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Amendment) Bills 2022.
