India wins 2nd cricket Test match defeating New Zealand by 178 runs

India have won the second cricket Test match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata defeating New Zealand by 178 runs. Aiming the target of 376, the visitors were all out for 197 runs in their second innings.

Earlier, resuming at 227 for eight on the fourth day of the match Monday, India added 36 runs to their overnight total and finished the second innings at 263.Wriddhiman Saha remained not out at 58.

With this win, Team India have won the series by 2-0. They had won the first Test in Kanpur by 197 runs.
