Lakhs Of Devotees Witnessed Lord Jagannath’s Golden Attire, ‘Suna Besha’in Puri

Lakhs of devotees have gathered in the holy city of Puri to witnessed  the ‘Suna Besha’, the golden attire, of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra in the holy city of Puri in Odisha

The sibling deities, who are on their three chariots, are decorated with more than 208 kilograms of gold jewelries.

The chariots are parked in front of the Singhadwar of the 12th century shrine the Sri Jagannath temple after their return from Gundicha temple, completing their 8-day stay in the house of their maternal aunt Gundicha Devi.

Elaborate security arrangements  made in Puri to witness the ‘Suna Besha’.

Taking into consideration the rush of devotees, the Temple administration extended  the Suna Besha darshan timing till midnight so that devotees can catch a glimpse of the Deities in thier golden attire.
