Over 52 crore COVID vaccine doses administered in country so far; Recovery rate stands at 97.4 pc

More than 52 crore COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health Ministry said, more than 41 lakh 38 thousand vaccine doses were administered during the last 24 hours.

More than 40 thousand patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Till now, over three crore 12 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. The recovery rate stands at 97.45 per cent.

India reported over 38 thousand new cases in the last 24 hours. The Active caseload is now at three lakh 86 thousand 351 which is lowest in 140 days. Meanwhile, 497 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. Testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and more than 48 crore 50 lakh tests have been conducted in the country so far.
