Passing Out Parade of 2700 trainees of INS Chilka to be held on 8th January

The Passing Out Parade of 2700 trainees of INS Chilka will be held on Thursday – 8th January.

INS Chilka is the Indian Navy’s training establishment for sailors and Agniveers, located in Odisha near Chilka Lake.

The Ministry of Defence informed that the parade marks the successful culmination of 16 weeks of rigorous training, which prepares the trainees to meet the challenges of modern day Naval operations.

It added that the passing-out batch comprises two thousand one hundred Agniveers. The Ministry said that the bilingual trainee’s magazine Ankur will also be unveiled on the occasion.
