PM Modi Congratulates Mohanlal on Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Malayalam actor Mohanlal on being selected for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2023.

In a social media post, Mr. Modi said that Mr. Mohanlal epitomises excellence and versatility. He added that with a rich body of work spanning decades, the actor stands as a leading light of Malayalam cinema, theatre and is deeply passionate about the culture of Kerala.

The Prime Minister mentioned that Mr. Mohanlal has also delivered remarkable performances in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada and Hindi films and said that the cinematic and theatrical brilliance of the Malayalam actor across mediums is truly inspiring.

Mr. Modi wished that the accomplishments of Mr. Mohanlal continue to inspire the generations to come.
