PM Modi reaches Bhubaneswar on 3-day visit to Odisha to attend 59th All India DGP and IGP Conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bhubaneshwar today on a three-day visit to Odisha.
The Prime Minister will attend the 59th All India Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police Conference from November 30 to November 1 being held at Lok Seba Bhawan here .Union Home Minister Amit Shah who inaugurated the three day conference today ,will also be present at the deliberations along with NSA Ajit Doval.
The three-day conference aims to bring together senior police officials and security administrators to address pressing challenges and enhance strategies for ensuring internal security across the nation. administrators to address pressing challenges and enhance strategies for ensuring internal security across the nation.
The conference will provide an interactive platform for senior police professionals and security administrators in the country to freely discuss and debate diverse national security-related issues, as well as various operational, infrastructural and welfare-related problems faced by the police in India.
The conference will deliberate the formulation and sharing of professional practices and processes for tackling challenges relating to crime control and law and order management, besides internal security threats.
Upon reaching Bhubaneswar, Prime Minister Modi addressed a public meeting near the Biju Patnaik International Airport organised by State Unit of BJP.

He said, the BJP government at the Centre is giving much priority to the pride of Odisha and to Odisha.

Modi said, as soon as BJP’s government was formed in Odisha, many big steps have been taken for the mothers and sisters like Subhadra Yojana. He said, this scheme will become the identity of women empowerment.

He criticised the opposition parties for trying to stall the pace of progress. He said, the opposition parties have no faith in the Constitution. Modi said the victory of BJP in the state elections of Haryana, Maharashtra after the party’s resounding victory in Odisha is a reflection of people’s faith in the policies and schemes of his government.

Union Ministers Jual Oram, Dharmendra Pradhan, Aswini Vaishnaw , state BJP chief Manmohan Samal , BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda and many other senior party leaders were present at the meeting.

The Prime Minister also held a roadshow from the Airport to the Raj Bhavan and later in the evening addressed a party meeting at the BJP headquarter at Bhubaneswar. He interacted with party leaders, including MLAs, MPs, and senior members of the BJP’s core committee. The meeting focussed on reviewing the party’s performance over the past six months and discussing development priorities for Odisha.
