11-Ft Crocodile Captured In Bhopal

A large 11-feet long crocodile has been captured from Bhadbhada area in the Madhya Pradesh capital, forest department sources said. Panic prevailed among denizens as the reptile was sighted near Bhadbhada bridge Tuesday..
A forest department team was rushed to the spot. The crocodile was captured after one-hour-long rescue operation. It was later shifted to the Van Vihar National Park.
The crocodile sighting comes close on the heels of a tiger venturing into an institute in Navi Bagh area in city recently. The big cat was rescued and shifted to the Panna Tiger Reserve.
Besides, two tigers are moving in Kaliasot and Kerwa areas in the citys outskirts since the past four months.
