14 People Arrested In Connection With Lynching Of Rape Accused case In Dimapur

At least 14 persons have been arrested so far in connection with Dimapur killing of a rape accused, jail-break and mob violence in Nagaland.
Police said here Sunday that more arrest would be made. Prohibitory orders are still in force in Dimapur to prevent further escalation of tension.

The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome said, although there was no report of any violence for the last two days, the situation remains tense.
The District Administration has also ordered imposition of curfew in Dimapur city from 3 pm to 12 midnight to prevent any untoward incident.
