16 Militants and Linkmen Of Two Militant Outfits Arrested in Assam

In Assam, security forces arrested 16 militants and linkmen of two militant outfits from different areas. Official sources said that 14 militants and linkmen of Rabha National Liberation Front were arrested in Golapara district.

They were suspected to be involved in planting bomb at railway track in Goalpara on Friday.

In another incident, two militants of National Democratic Front of Bodoland- Songbijit faction have been apprehended in Kokrajhar district today.

A joint team of the army and police apprehended both the militants along with arms and ammunitions. Both of them were trained in Myanmar and also suspected to be involved in civilians on 23rd December last year.
