17 Fresh Swine Flu Deaths Reported In Maharashtra taking Toll To 264

As many as 17 people have succumbed to Swine Flu in Maharashtra during 24 hours , taking the death toll in the State to 264 this year.

The State Health Department said that 131 news patients have tested positive for Swine flu Friday , taking the number of Swine Flu-affected cases in the state to 3, 135.

Of these, 1, 123 cases have been reported from Mumbai, 909 cases are from Pune and 424 cases from Nagpur. More than 400 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals throughout the state. Of these, 36 patients have been put on ventilator, the sources said.
