40 people killed in a suicide bomb blast by IS militants in Libya

At least 40 people have been killed while several others have been injured in a spate of suicide bomb blasts by the Islamic State group militants in the eastern city of Qubbah in Libya,.
The bombs exploded at a police station, the local security headquarters and the town council headquarters in Qubbah.
The city is the hometown of Libyan Parliament Speaker, Aguila Saleh who said, the bombings are apparently in retaliation of Egyptian airstrikes in Derna.
Meanwhile, Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying it is the revenge for killing of Muslims in Derna. Air strikes targeting militants were launched in Derna early this week.
