8 More Swine Flu Deaths In Maharastra, Toll Due To H1N1 Touch 301

With eight more patients succumbing to Swine flu in last 24 hours in Maharashtra, the death toll due to H1N1 has risen to 301 in the state.
According to the State Health Department, 96 new patients tested positive for Swine flu in last 24 hours, taking the number of swine flu affected cases in the state to 3571.
At present around 396 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Maharashtra of which 26 have been put on ventilator.
The state health department has stated that it is well equipped to handle prevention and control of the disease and has adequate availability of the anti-viral medicine Oseltamivir that is used in treating swine flu.
