Telangana police rescued nearly 1400 missing children under Operation Smile programme

Telangana Police has rescued nearly 1400 missing children including over 350 girls under Operation Smile programme from all over the state.

The state Police has formed special teams under the Operation Smile, an initiative of the Union Home Ministry to trace out missing children. Of them, 660 children including 225 girls under the age of 14 years have been restored to their parents in various districts of the state.
