Govt. of India to provide skill development training to 1.50 crore people in 2015-16: Giriraj

Government of India has targeted to provide skill development training to 1 crore 50 lakh people under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector in the next financial year.

Union Minister for State of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Giriraj Singh told media persons in Guwahati Friday night, that khadi products got a boost after Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to use it through Mann Ki Baat.

Singh said, his ministry has set the target to increase the contribution of khadi clothes in textile industry to 5 percent in coming days from the present point 4 percent.
