Preparatory Camp For FIH Hockey World League To Start From Saturday

A Preparatory Camp of the Indian Men Core Probables team will kick start at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium from May 16 to June 9 for the preparation of the upcoming FIH Hockey World League Semi-Final at Antwerp, Belgium.

Forty eight players will be part of the initial camp including the names like AkashChikte who was declared the one of the Upcoming Players of the Tournamentfor the Senior Men National Championship.

Besides him, goalkeeper Arpit Chaudhary and Abhinav Pandey have even made it to the 48 core probables where they will be gauged on their skills to play under pressure.

Post a week training session of the camp, the top 33 core probables will be identified along with the team for the Indian squad to play for the FIH Hockey World League Semi-Final.Star defender Sunil Yadav and Midfielders Vikas Sharma and Imran Khan will also feature in the camp.

From the Forwards names like PR Ayiapa, Harasahib Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Vineet Kamble and Amir Khan get a chance to showcase their play
