Bribery Remark Case : Delhi Court To Hear Complaint Against Kejriwal On July 18

Delhi court Monday ordered to hear on July 28 a private complaint against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who during Delhi Assembly campaigning allegedly asked voters to take bribes from other parties but vote for the AAP.
Ikrant Sharma filed a complaint against Mr Kejriwal by alleging that by making such a statement, the Delhi AAP convenor violated model code of conduct and instigated the public to accept bribes.”The act of the accused comes under the definition of criminal offence as mentioned in the Indian Penal Code.
The accused (Kejriwal) was not only promoting the offence, but also spreading this message among the public,” he said in his complaint filed in February.
Sharma has submitted and requested the court to summon and prosecute Mr Kejriwal and also direct Delhi Police to register a case against him.Metropolitan Magistrate Richa Gusain Solanki fixed July 28 to hear the case in which Delhi Police are yet to file a status report. Xnnnn
