Separatist Leader Mirwaiz’s Supporters Raise Pakistani Flags At Srinagar Rally

Separatist leader Mirwaiz Umer Farooq’s supporters on Wednesday raised Paakistani flags at a rally in Srinagar’s old city area.

The rally was held on the eve of death anniversary of Farooq’s father.

Earlier, separatist leader Masarat Alam had sparked controversy for raising of pro-Pakistan slogans and flags at a rally attended by him on April 17.

The 45-year-old separatist leader was later arrested in the case registered in the Budgam Police Station in connection with his provocative actions during the rally.
