CBI Submits Interim Probe Report on Tamil Nadu IAS Officer DK Ravi’s Death

The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly said that Senior IAS officer and former Additional Commissioner of Enforcement in the Commercial Taxes Department in Karnataka , DK Ravi , who allegedly committed suicide in his flat on March 16 , may have called his batch-mate only once and not over 42 times as earlier reported

Ravi’s death has led to speculation that he may have been murdered for taking on Karnataka’s building and sand lobbies.

The opposition BJP has been putting pressure on the Congress Government in Karnataka to seek a CBI probe since March 17.

Ravi is also said to have ended his life over a failed relationship with his married batchmate.
Meanwhile , CBI, probing the alleged suicide of Tamil Nadu IAS Officer DK Ravi , has submitted its interim report.

The CBI is yet to reach a conclusion in the case, media reports said.
