Odisha Draft IPR-2015 Proposes Creation of IIDF Starting With Corpus of Rs.100 Cr

The draft Industrial Policy Resolution(IPR) 2015 of Odisha government has proposed to create an Industrial Infrastructure Development Fund (IIDF) with an initial corpus of Rs 100 crore to meet budgetary gap of any department to provide quality external infrastructure to any industrial cluster or park.
A high level meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Saturday discussed the draft IPR -2015 with an objective to woo investors world over to Odisha.
The draft policy also suggested to provide capital grants for infrastructure to new industrial cluster parks in private sector to the extent of 50 per cent limiting to Rs 10 crore. For upgradation of infrastructure in existing industrial parks clusters the capital grants could be given up to 50 per cent limiting to Rs five crore, it suggested.
Manufacturing units in MSME Sector adopting zero effluent or waste water dischargewould get 20 per cent of the capital cost of ETP limiting to Rs 20 lakh.
The draft policy focused on business facilitation and envisages on strengthening of institutional framework for single window system to ensure timely clearance and ease of doing business.
