Suit Is Definitely More Acceptable Than Suitcase: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday alleged that people have suffered and remained poor due to shortsighted policies of the Congress during 60 years of its rule.

In an interview to a news agency, Modi, on the Suit-boot ki sarkar charge levelled by congress, said suit is definitely more acceptable than suitcase. Taking on Congress for its allegation that the NDA government is pro industrialist, he said had opposition party been so pro poor, poverty would not have existed in the country.

The Prime Minister reiterated that any discrimination or violence against any community will not be tolerated. He asserted that every faith in the country has equal rights and it is equal not only before the law but also before society.
