Bihar Polls : Lalu Likely To Meet Sonia To Discuss Strategy

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad is likely to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi today to discuss the issue of alliance for Bihar polls, a day ,after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held consultations in this regard with Rahul Gandhi.

Congress Vice-President Rahul is learnt to have favoured a broader secular alliance for the state and he has also informed Nitish Kumar about the party view in this regard.

Bihar’s ruling JD(U) and Lalu Prasad’s RJD Sunday decided to contest the state assembly elections in alliance and constitute a six member committee to finalise seat-sharing.
