India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal To Sign Motor Vehicle Pact Today

Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal, BBIN, will sign a Motor Vehicle pact today to facilitate seamless transport between these countries.
The agreement will be signed by the Transport Ministers at a meeting in Thimpu, Bhutan.
The signing of the pact will promote safe, economical efficient and environmentally sound road transport in the sub-region and will help each country in creating an institutional mechanism for regional integration. The agreement was approved by the Union Cabinet on the 10th of this month.
With the signing of the pact, these countries will be benefited by mutual cross border movement of passenger and goods for overall economic development of the region.
