IAF Jaguar Fighter Aircraft Crashes Near Allahabad, Pilots Safe

Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force today crashed while on a routine sortie at Naini near Allahabad.

Indian Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander SS Virdi said that the plane was on its routine training flight and it crashed 18 kilometers from Allahabad southwest in Naini area.

He said that both the pilots ejected safely from the plane and a Court of Inquiry has been ordered.

In March, another Jaguar aircraft had crashed in agricultural fields near Shahbad town in Haryana with the pilot ejecting safely from the plane.
