Pesident Murmu offers prayers at Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and performs Pinda Dan

Pesident Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri this morning. She performed ‘Pinda Dan’ at Sweta Ganga.
President Murmu had a darshan of Trinity ‘Garva Gruha’of the temple and got so emotional that she cried before the Lord .Later she also prayed at the Goddes Mahalaxmi and take her blessings.
Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati,Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and other senior servitgors and officials of Sri Jagannath Temple Administration were present during the visit,
She is on a six-day tour to Odisha and today is the third day of his home state visit.
During her visit, President Murmu is scheduled to unveil the statue of eminent tribal leader Bhanjbir Sunaram Soren at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Mahuldihi ,in her hometown, Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj. where she will also take part in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and interact with students and teachers.
The President will inaugurate the newly constructed Holiday Home at Mahuldihi and offer prayers at the Purneshwar Mahadev Temple.
In the afternoon, at the Rairangpur Collectorate Stadium, she will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several development projects related to healthcare, education, sports, tribal welfare, and urban infrastructure, and address a public gathering.
