Lalit Modi Row : CPI Demands SC Monitored Probe Into Sushma, Vasusndhara’s Son

CPI has demanded Supreme Court monitored probe into External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje role in helping tainted former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi in securing British travel documents.
In a statement Wednesday party General Secretary Sudhakar Reddy said the court should take suo moto notice of the issue as well as the matter related with frauds of IPL. He also reiterated the demand for resignation of both the leaders from their posts.
Ms. Swaraj is at the centre of the row for helping Indian fugitive and scam-tainted Modi procure British travel documents, while Ms Raje is accused of backing his immigration plea.
