Union Minister Kiren Rijiju urges Opposition to allow LS to function for HM Amit Shah’s statement

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju today said that the Government is ready for a detailed discussion in Parliament regarding the recent student protests and related issues.
Assuring that Home Minister Amit Shah is ready to respond to every point, Mr Rijiju stated that citizens have a right to know the facts. He urged the Opposition to maintain order on the floor and refrain from further obstructing proceedings.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament premises after the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, Mr Rijiju appealed to the Opposition to allow the House to function so that Home Minister Amit Shah makes a statement about the students’ protest and addresses all concerns raised by the opposition members.
The Minister emphasized that the Government has never shied away from parliamentary debates. He highlighted that during the BAC meeting, the government clearly communicated its willingness to hold a comprehensive discussion on the matter.
