Central Govt. Clears Setting Up Of Six New IIMs Including One At Sambalpur

Cabinet Wednesday approved setting up of six Indian Institute of Management, IIMs. These IIMs will be set up in Vishakhapatnam, Bodh Gaya, Sirmaur, Nagpur, Sambalpur and Amritsar.

It has also given its nod to renewal of long term agreements for supply of high grade iron ore to Japan and South Korea till March, 2018 through Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation, MMTC.

Cabinet also approved signing of an agreement for cooperation between Department Of Industrial Policy and Promotion, DIPP and Japan Patent Office to jointly work on intellectual property, human resource development, and capacity building.
