NCC Cadets Educate UT Villagers About Importance Of Vaccination

NCC cadets are not restricted to their training pertaining to defence alone, they are also made aware of their obligations towards society.

Disclosing this, the Wg. Cdr Jaideep Singh Jeji ,Commanding Officer, Chandigarh Air Squadron, NCC informed that Air NCC Cadets of various Colleges of the City, Monday educated untrained villagers regarding the importance of vaccination.

As many as 60 Cadets took out a rally at Jagathpur, a village, adopted by the Squadron. Carrying placards and banners in their hands, they interacted with the village women and other un- educated people familiarizing them with the benefits of immunization.

He informed that social service of such kind is undertaken on regular basis to inculcate in them a habit of selfless service towards society.

The aim of such activities is to spread public awareness through the worlds largest uniformed youth organization. He said that the organization conducts such rallies on United Nations Observed Days to benefit the masses.
