The High Court in Hyderabad Tuesday has granted bail to Telangana Telugu Desam Party MLA Revanth Reddy and two others in cash-to- Vote case .

The High Court bench has granted conditional bail to three accused. The court said, the accused should deposit 5 lakh rupees each and surety of two persons.

The court also asked the accused to surrender passport and not to leave his constituency Kodangal. The Court rejected the argument by the Anti- Corruption Bureau that the accused will tamper with the evidence.

Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested after they were caught red handed offering 50 lakh rupees to a nominated MLA Stephenson for securing his support to TDP candidate during the recently held MLC elections. The ACB special court has rejected granting of bail to the accused.

Earlier, the High Court also stayed arrest of the fourth accused in the case, Mattaiah. While rejecting another petition filed by Stephenson, the high court directed the police to initiate action against the MLA for contempt
