Integrated Mobile App To Be Launched In Kerala

An integrated mobile application will be launched in Kerala to discriminate all the online government services under one umbrella.

The proposed integrated mobile application will provide all the online government services to the people through their smart phones.

This step is being taken after the success of pilot projects on mobile governance. In the beginning, only SMS based services were initiated as part of mobile governance. But, the penetration of smarts phones in Kerala paved way for smart solutions in e governance like mobile apps.

As part of the mobile application project of the state IT mission, inter department data sharing platform will be developed in the beginning. Various services including payment of taxes, fees, utility charges, collection of details from different offices, submitting applications and obtaining certificates will be available through the mobile application.

Those who are not having smart phones could avail SMS based services and interactive voice response services.
