Amarnath Yatra Remains Suspended From Jammu For Second Day

Amarnath Yatra remains suspended from here for the second consecutive day in view to clear stranded vehicles on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

“The national highway which got blocked due to landslide after heavy rains has been thrown open for the traffic,” an official today said.

He said that the stranded vehicles are being cleared on the highway following which the fresh batch of Amarnath Yatris were not allowed from Jammu.

“Once the rush of vehicles will be cleared, yatra will be allowed towards Srinagar from Jammu,” he added.
