Ruling NDA Holds ‘Save Democracy’ March outside Parliament

In a reversal of roles, ruling NDA MPs including senior members of the Modi Government today organised a “Save Democracy” March outside the Parliament in protest against the Opposition Congress Party disrupting the whole Monsoon Session.

As the session ended today without concluding any substantial business, senior MPs and functionaries of the NDA Government including Rajnath Singh, Manohar Parrikar, Smriti Irani, Dr Jitendra Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Ram Vilas Paswan, Kiren Rijiju and others gathered at Gate No 1 of Parliament holding placards.

Speaking to mediapersons, the Ministers blamed the Congress for the washout of the whole session and the negative attitude of the Congress which they said have hampered the democratic process.
